Jaiwin Prakash

Research Engineer

Jaiwin holds a Masters Degree in Applied Geology from Anna University, India. After graduation he worked with a consulting firm for 2 years before moving back into his field of study, i.e., Geoscience. He packed bags to Mumbai, the city of dreams in India and worked both as Marine Geologist, Marine Geophysicist and also project management for the next three years.

Having joined at Acoustics Research Laboratory (ARL), his main area of interest is sediment characterization in the shallow seismic studies and is interested n almost everything else which involves a bit of challenge to understand in marine geology. His interests includes Paleoclimatic environment reconstructions and wetland evolutions.

An avid reader, is also keen on trekking, writes a bit (blogs) and loves listening to OSTs.
