Tan Soo Pieng

Research Engineer

Soo Pieng received her bachelor of engineering (BEng) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Nottingham Trent university. She was attached to ARL before her graduation and joined ARL as a research engineer in 2001. Her work involves supporting hardware prototyping, software development and ambient noise signal analysis. She has participated in the development of many projects including ROMANIS, mini-PANDAs, TRM and the Singapore water ambient noise database.

She likes to be with her 3 years old son and her husband during weekends. They love to go for a park riding, swimming, reading and occasional movie watching.
