Simen received his Masters degree in Cybernetics and Robotics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in 2017. During his last year in university, he focused on developing data driven models for vessel trajectory prediction.
Before joining ARL, Simen worked 4 years as a Data Engineer in BearingPoint, helping companies across Scandinavia to solve data engineering and machine learning problems.
Simen is a machine learning enthusiast and will be working within this domain as a Research Associate in ARL.
Apart from work, Simen enjoys travelling, drone photography and sports such as tennis, football and skiing.
