Trung Kien is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Nanyang Technological University. His final years at university provided a deep dive into underwater robotics, where he worked on signal processing and computer vision aspects. Following his graduation, he transitioned to software development and has now found his niche at the crossroads of robotics and research.

His expertise lies in robotics software development with a touch of hardware, as long as it does not blow him up. Nevertheless, he is committed to exploring and expanding his horizons beyond his expertise. He is also dedicated to learning how robotics and autonomous systems can make our lives easier and push the boundaries of human potential.

Outside of the lab, he enjoys sports in general, football in particular, and occasionally reads books that catch his eye. He is also on a grand quest to clear the Monster Hunter franchise and is always open to tactical tips for his next hunt.
