Wang Yan received his B.S. from Dalian Maritime University in 2016 and his Ph.D. from South China University of Technology in 2024. During his postgraduate studies, he was an exchange student at Ghent University, Belgium, from February to August 2018. Currently, he is a postdoctoral researcher at South China University of Technology and a visiting research scientist with the Acoustic Research Laboratory (ARL) at the National University of Singapore (NUS). His research interests include underwater acoustic networks, medium access control, routing, and network optimization.  

Apart from academic activities, he enjoys walking in the street and snapping with his several cameras, cooking, and playing badminton. And hope he can accomplish his Singapore wish lists.
